DevOps- Azure Dev Ops Migration Clarification
Is it possible to move entire projects to different Azure Devops Tenants? We know repos and commit history can be cloned and moved over, but we are looking to retain also things like work items that are not part of the git history. We currently have one Azure Dev Ops tenant that we would like to break out into 3 distinct units.
We also have a legacy tenant that we would like to remove. To be safe we were thinking to keep a backup of the data within in. Do you know of any way to migrate an entire project of repos to Gitlab or needs to be done only one by one? Is there any other way to export Boards or Work items? Like to excel or otherwise??

Queries which are created and using by the user since long suddenly they stopped working with an error message (VS402335: The timeout period(30 seconds) elapsed prior to completion of the query or the server is not responding). However, if the other team member is using the same query its working fine, she found that once she used other’s query (which was working fine), and then added the story points and sorted based on priority and title, that’s where it crashed.

Need help troubleshooting Azure OAuth application registration for TeleMessage application. Session hangs at logon when user is presented with a prompt to confirm session redirection back to the application, however user is able to exit and re-enter without issue due to the prior prompt response being cached
Prompt is caused by the domain value provided by the vendor to ensure user knows they are being redirected and to where; A more standard URI format provided by the vendor should negate the prompt, and the issue.
When the user is redirected back to the application, the application is not able to deal with the interruption caused by the prompt; Specifics around the issue and how to fix it require developer knowledge, however some documentation on a similar issue, and how to resolve when using WebView, were provided.

Hello, We received the instructions on installing and using AzureDiag for SQL Azure from local laptop. However, we are looking for an option and instructions to use AzureDiag as an Azure function (or other ways) where we can run from Azure portal. This will sllow anyone from our team members including support team to run the Diag in the event of performance issues for Azure SQL and also would not require the session to be connected continuously from laptop. Additionally, we also faced issues installing on Laptop due to the requirement of elevated privileges. Can you please provide options on how to run AzureDiag from Azure Portal itself.

We are looking to create a series of alerts to monitor resources in a specific subscription. That subscription has a variety of resources that we will be building alerts for, some resources will be CPU based, some alerts will be cluster related, network traffic, etc. I’m trying to understand if there is a way to display all of those alerts once they are build in a custom dashboard. this URL: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/media-services/latest/monitoring/monitor-create-dashboard-alerts-how-to isn’t very clear to me. It seems to be saying you have to build the dashboard by building the alerts INTO the dashboard not just taking existing alerts and displaying them on a dashboard which is what I am trying to do. I have other alerts in other subscriptions that we can use to test.

This is a best practice query, not an incident.
We’re currently looking to scale CosmosDB substantially, specifically one of the containers from 120000 RU > 50000 RU with a scope to drop this further. We wanted to verify the following
1. We’re basing this scaling on the Metrics (Classic) showing an ‘Avg Throughput’ of 100 RUs (over 1hr, per container), would this be an appropriate metric to use to tailor the scale each containers.
2. Should we tailor the ‘Total Throughput Limit’ (Currently 150000 RU/s) to match overall max scale (Note one of the containers in not set to autoscale). e.g. Container 1 (Manual Scale) = 50000RU/s Container 2 (AutoScaling/Maximum RU/s required by this resource) = 4000RU/s Container 3 (Autoscaling/Maximum RU/s required by this resource) = 1000RU/s
We assume the in-container “Maximum RU/s required by this resource” will be respected, IE, container 2 for example would scale between 1RU/s > 4000RU/s max, never beyond.
Overall / Max scale should or could thus be set at 55000RU/s (the cumulative value of all containers Maximum RU/s or manually set scaled RU/s) – This option seems somewhat obsolete at face value as each container is limited individually, is there any pro to setting this aside from limiting overall costs.
3. We’re considering setting “Container 1” to autoscaling, what are the pros/cons here, should we expect poorer performance as the container adaptively scales over having a manually set scale.
